Taketime Schools Practitioner Training: January 2025

Taketime Meditations use your imagination to provide a calm, comfortable space in which to meet God. The aim of the Taketime Schools course is to help participants to understand the Taketime vision and to enable them to use Taketime within schools.

This online course must be completed by the end date shown. Each day, your tutor will be available to answer questions and feedback on any assignments.

Before you enrol to this course, we ask that you listen to at least one of our meditations online

All Taketime Practitioners are required to have a current DBS

The online part of this course will take approximately three hours to complete. There is also a component offline. The timing for this part of the course will vary according to individual circumstances

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to start the course on the Monday morning?

No. The course is very flexible. You could start on any day of the week. You do however have to complete the course by the end date shown. If you experience any issues during this time which prevent you from completing the course, let us know via schools@taketime.org.uk and we will try to move you to a later course.

Do I have to complete the online element of the course in one go?

No, not unless you want to. The course will save your progress and responses automatically and you can stop and start as you wish.

Does it matter what time of the day I work on the course?

No. The course is available 24/7 so you can work on it whenever suits you. You may not get a response immediately after you post a question in one of the discussion forums but by the time you look next time, you should have received a reply.

Will I be working in isolation?

You will be working with other teachers on the same course but at your own pace. There are three discussion forums in the course where you can interact with other teachers and your tutors if you wish but there is no synchronous participation.

Can a number of people from my school sign up together?

If you are looking to train a number of people from the same school at the same time, email us at schools@taketime.org.uk and we can look at scheduling a separate, closed course.
