Empowered to lead

About This Course

This 'Empowered to lead' course is offered by the Mothers' Union, to strengthen grassroots women's leadership. The course contains modules on different aspects of leadership, drawing on current expert thinking, with biblical reflection and participatory approaches woven through. Mothers’ Union is a women-led, international Christian movement dedicated to ending poverty, violence and social injustice in communities in the UK and around the world. Active for 150 years, with over 4 million members in approximately 84 countries, we work with people of all faiths and none, transforming lives, strengthening families and communities, and advocating for meaningful change. Rooted in kindness, faith and compassionate action, we strive to create a better future where everyone has the opportunity and resources to thrive. Mothers' Union members want to make a difference in their communities, churches and families. We offer this course on leadership to support these women to continue to make a difference in their contexts.
