About This Course

The aim of the course is to reflect on this important ministry during the changed circumstances that we find ourselves in around the world due to COVID-19. Whether you have been involved in children’s ministry for many years, or are just starting out, this 6 session online course will explore new ways of reaching and discipling children, and give you the confidence to do what you are already doing only better! The course outline of sessions includes:

  2. Spirituality of children
  3. Children and the Bible
  4. Working with families
  5. Intergenerational worship
  6. Sustainable leadership and team building
This course is led by Dr Carolyn Edwards. While it was filmed during the pandemic in 2020-21 the content of the courses continues to be relevant as it sets out excellent content for engaging with children and relating it to your current situation at whatever time you sign up and begin this course. This course is a self-paced course, so you can work through the content as quickly or as slowly as you like and you can begin at any time. The course costs £37.00 which is payable when you sign up. Payment can be made by credit or debit card. Each student who completes the course will receive a completion certificate.

Do I have to complete this course within a time frame?

This course is completely self-paced, all the content is available from the moment you've enrolled. Some people may choose to do it all in a couple of days, others may find it works better for them to do a session per week around other commitments. It helps to keep making progress, but its up to you on how that works for your work/life commitments.
