About this course
Whether we are working in a church or a village hall creating a welcoming space is the foundation of all that we are doing. But what does it mean to create a ‘sacred space’? How can we provide opportunities for children to have life transforming encounters with God whatever our location and facilities? This module helps us to answer those questions by exploring Rebecca Nye’s model for nurturing spirituality – SPIRIT – Space, Process, Imagination, Relationship, Intimacy and Trust, and David Csinos’s Spiritual Styles. Both really helpful ways of considering individually, and as a group, how we can be more effective in creating nurturing ‘sacred spaces’. The module is part of the Children's Ministry Essentials programme, read more below.About Children's Ministry Essentials
