TRIP (Theological Reflection in Practice)

About This Course

The North West and Mann region of the Learning Network would like to offer you the opportunity to theologically reflect on various aspects of ministry in light of The Methodist Church’s ‘Our Calling’ Statement. This is open to anyone, but will be particularly useful for those in ministry (lay and ordained) who help to lead churches in mission and ministry. This year we have picked two themes: Death, grieving and the ministry of funerals; and, Leadership: collaboration and participation. Each theme will explore the four elements of Our Calling to see how it relates to your context. The sessions will include some study material for you to reflect on in your own time (should take about 1 hour) and an online Zoom conversation lasting 1 1/2 hours. These sessions will be recorded so that those who can not make one can watch the main input later and enable those that do attend to return to them if they wish. The breakout rooms and small group conversations will not be recorded. In order that you can receive the study materials and the Zoom link it is essential that you book in by emailing NWMannNetwork@gmail.com
